Birthing Classes Begin

On Wednesday Ben and I had our first birthing class. Ben and I have decided that we would like to do a natural birth and will be going with the hypnobirthing process. Ben and I chose this method hoping it will provide us with the tools we need to bring our baby into the world with as little discomfort and stress as possible. in our first class we learned some breathing techniques and went through several exercises using the breathing. It was immensely informative and we both feel more prepared and ready, after just the first class!

Hypnobirthing "is a unique method of relaxed, natural childbirth education, enhanced by self-hypnosis techniques. HypnoBirthing provides the missing link that allows women to use their natural instincts to bring about a safer, easier, more comfortable birthing."

Carrying on the family name...

On August 1st,  Ben and I found out we were having a precious little boy. This little guy will be carrying on the Koske name to our newest generation. We are excited that he has 10 fingers and 10 toes, and is as healthy as an ox. His growth is on track and the doctor couldn't be happier with our progress. With his arrival date set for 12/31/2011, we're bound to have an exciting (and sleepless) start to 2012. Ben and I are looking forward to decorating his room in the coming months and preparing for him filling out our family! We promise to post pictures of the progress!
